What is nutritional therapy?

It is a complementary therapy based within functional medicine, supporting your wellbeing through nutrition and lifestyle advice. It considers all symptoms and body systems to provide a full picture of what is going on to drive an individual’s health or illness.

Our bodies are amazing, complex and made up of interconnected processes which when working well exist in a state of harmony or ‘homeostasis’. But if something becomes out of balance it can have a knock-on effect on other areas, compounding any health issues already present.

Nutritional therapy aims to identify the root cause of such imbalances and works towards supporting the body systems back into a state of balance, primarily through food.

How can nutritional therapy help me?

Nutritional therapy can help to support a wide range of conditions or health goals. By taking a holistic approach it often ends up helping more than one area.

I provide a balanced approach to nutrition with a focus on:

  • digestive health

  • hormonal balance

  • fertility

  • pre and postnatal support

  • stress
